ModelRight, Inc. is a software company providing database design/data modeling solutions.

ModelRight was founded by Tim Guinther, President & Founder of ModelRight, Inc. In this role Guinther drives product development and oversees company operations.  Guinther has been a software engineer for over 20 years and was the pioneer of product development for ERwin in its infancy to growth years.  He was the first software engineer to join Logic Works in 1992 to lead the development of ERwin. Guinther soon became Vice President of Product Development for Logic Works, Inc. and spearheaded the development of all ERwin products from 1994 until leaving Computer Associates, who acquired Logic Works, in 2001. Prior to Logic Works, Guinther lead the development efforts of various software products at IBM and Bellcore.

With over 20 years experience developing database design software, Guinther understands the needs of database administrators, architects and engineers. Finding a transparent database design tool that supports complex designs offered at an affordable price is what prompted Guinther to develop ModelRight.

Guinther holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Purdue University.
